Heyy!

My name is Marika and I am one of the authors here at the site.

I am 26 years old and I live in a town called Södertälje here in Sweden, it isnt too far from our capital city Stockholm! :)

I’ve been around writing about Shockplay since year 2008!! First I blogged at marrubou.com about Shockplay related things for about 1,5 years time and then I went over to this site: shockplayers.net instead. Me and my sister Katjziska started this site together!  :)

All together I have played at Shockplay for 9 years time!!

I have taken some shorter and some longer breaks through the years but I have always kept coming back ;) There is just something special about this game site, but I cant really put my finger on what!

I started in year 2003 and played on the nickname marru til September 2009, when I “upgraded” it to marrubou ;) ..and then ehm changed it back to my original name in August 2010 ;)

marru is what my friends also calls me IRL, closer to home and heart to say ;) 

 I’ve been admin for the backgammon league at the site since June 2008, when I took over after all of our favourite player Cheese.

I still am having a great time as admin and player in the backgammon league even though I wished for some updates to be done for the game!

Games I like to play at SP, are mostly couronne, backgammon and shanghai (both single and multiplayer).. but you can also find me trying to play the other games aswell! ;o)

Sometimes I get a hold of some gold coins and try to arrange fun competitions!!! ;)
