I am thinking to make this page more interesting but i dont know how to start a chat in here. I have to much money to spend and i think i like to start a game here and i dont like to be a winner but like to be a gamer like all ells. Maby i can spend 1000 SwKr just to have some fun here..all game site´s as Blip.se and ells is gone. I hope this will be here for a long time.. ;)

If two players dont play each other, give them 1 point each.

We have just finished div2a.
Wickey27 have 4 wins and 4 lost and one declined to play (and we all know how she did that, she try it at us all,,, challenge and cancel voila declined.
She had 16 points and at the judgement she get 18 because of the declined match.
I had 5 wins and 1 lost, but the last 3 havent show up in the HOURS the last tree day i have been online, and ended up with 16 point, but wit less games than wickey27.
She moved up i didnt, that is not the best player who moved up.
……i am so pi……. and wickey27 is one helle of a cheater, she have tried so many times to make the challenge/Cancel trick on me. Kick her out
Nanckedk I feel your pain, the flag system is far from perfect.
Certain players are using the immediate challenge/cancel/ to gain a flag, and once they have a flag they are mysteriously difficult to contact (do not disturb) and always too busy to play! – Contacting the league admin to complain sometimes works but not always.
On the other hand there are players who DO decline or ignore many challenges and then the flag is always removed by admin prior to judgement, making the whole system pointless.
Another favourite is the players who walk or quit the game just before you hit the winning shot. This happens a lot in normal games and ocassionally in league; somehow they are exploiting a bug that means the game doesn’t get registered or points awarded.
There are some players on shockplay a crazy high win : loss ratio (and I don’t mean the players who are just good), I’m guessing this is the bug they use to achieve that ratio, because they walk more often than others.
Yeah so, I sympathise but I’m not sure how you make it fair. If they change the system then you will just get played refusing to play each other in order to manipulate results.
Unfortunately its very very unlikely anything will change, there is no love for shockplay anymore from its creators, i cannot even get a reply from rocketman about my full screen problem atm, i just cannot play atm because of it
Baz, I’m wondering if they have made any site or software updates recently that has caused the issue because I notice my full screen is very slow to load, and when I’m online the mouse now seems hyper sensitive. Also, seem to be getting a lot of bugs where the puks stop moving, especially when trying to get out of corner jams…….
Plus I can’t seem to access any shanghai solitaire, it tells me “no more levels are available” please contact rocketman. I’m only on level 8, surely that can’t be it? LOL
I think you are right, unfortunately they don’t seem to give a shit about SP anymore; the way things are eventually the numbers of users is gonna dwindle and the site will die off completely.
I see, i wonder if anyone else is having problems, well i can seem to fix the problem , and im not sure if im willing to adapt to the small screen after playing for 2 years full screen.
I got an email from shockplay support in response to my email to them where i told them about my full screen problem. They simply said ”This is an old feature that we no longer support, best regards”

Is it the same problem with both the normal version and dev version of the fullscreen program? thought that if you havent tried it with dev.exe you could download that and see what happens
i dont have the dev version on this computer, only on my old one, could you send me it? :)
The full screen is an old feature? I thought pretty much all the top players were using it?
Fuck sake, looks like they just want the £4 a month and don’t give a toss then.
I just emailled support about solitare, be interesting to see what response I get.
Baz, I assume you tried removing whatever updates you installed to the PC that caused the problem? dunno if you can do windows restore to a previous date when it was all working?
What exactly is the issue anyway, will it just not load?

I tryed deleting the full screen program and then re installing it, and yes deleting anything i downloaded up til the point of it not working.
The issue is when i click ”switch to full-screen” it does nothing, it goes to appear as if it is gunna go full screen and then nothing happens it just stays small
Since I don’t like the “flag” system at all I have created my own rule around it. I need an explanation of how the person got this flag or I take it away.
If I get an explanation thats the one I stick with unless I hear from the other player concerned. (If you have a – and you try to get the game played unsuccessfully, contact me for correction).
Sometimes I do miss to correct flags (take them away). If I do I’m sorry, I’m not always alble to log on before judgement on fridays, or I might miss it for some other reason.
Don’t hesetate to point out that I’ve missed something or ask me if there is something unclear.
With good comunication I believe that this system is better than letting it run itself, hopefully you agree, if you don’t I don’t mind some feedback.

Is there anything that can be done about players who are somehow using a bug to walk out of games immediately after the last shot without having the loss recorded?
I have had this in league matches but it is also happening a LOT in normal games; there seem to be a few players who just walk out after the game is done and the victory doesn’t record (nor does the ‘walkover, deduct points’ option appear).
Very annoying, although you can often tell who they are by the insane win loss ratio they have.
I agree thats annoying, especially since I have to sit and set results manually. Mainly it’s a bug but yes it’s probably used in the purpose to annoy.
If you click in the “writing section” of the chat once a shot has been made, the graphics skip the shot, if one does that on the last shot and clicks the chat once more so you leave the game very quickly perhaps the system can’t register the win in the league score table. However most often the result is registered on the information on the player profile so there is really no reason to do this.
I see it as unsportsmanlike but I’m pretty sure that in most cases the result is corrected in the end, that is if the involved write to me so I can set the result.
Concerning regular pointsgames if players has found a way to avoid a loss, I doubt there is much to be done about that, I will bring it up with Rocketman and see if he can locate the problem and correct it.
Yes, what happens is in regular points games you hit the winning shot and they leave but the messege telling you they walkedover never comes up. So, the result doesn’t show in MY profile althought it sometimes shows on theirs (this seems inconsistent though). Also the result doesn’t count for the win streaks in the lobby.
So for example I just beat this guy gatesman1 2-0 in a normal game and it never shows as a win in my profile. The guy has a 2:1 win:loss ratio yet plays like average as far as I can tell; no wonder why because his losses never get recorded.
I give people the benefit of the doubt once as everyone can get disconnected or something, but some players have use this trick all the time and so I now have probably half a dozen people on ignore.
I appreciate there is probably nothing you can do but raising the issue with Rocketman would be good….

I have trouble to login as usual. I logged in earlier today with no problem. Now it says: cant connect to IRC server. Check proxy and firewall settings. Have done it. Can somebody please help me with this issue.
